    Open a statement

    Excel, CSV or OFX from your card or bank. American Express, Chase, Citi, Capital One, Discover and Bank of America open directly. Any other is matched to its columns once and remembered.

  2. 02

    Add Amazon orders optional

    Download your order history report from amazon.com (Returns & Orders, then Order History Reports) and import the CSV. Amazon charges are matched to their orders.

  3. 03

    Add PDF receipts optional

    Receipts, invoices, hotel folios. CardPacket finds the amounts in each page and suggests the one that matches a charge.

Tags, locations and cost centers are saved in this browser as you work.

Lists

Export

Location, cost center and note are always included. A search exports only the rows it shows.

Match the columns:

Tell CardPacket which column is which. It remembers this for the next statement with the same columns.

Features and shortcuts

Tagging

Click any location or cost center cell to edit it. Both are required: an empty one is dashed, and its row is marked at the left edge until both are filled. Note is optional. Tags are saved in your browser as you go: reopen the same file to restore them.

Matching

After importing Amazon orders or a PDF, a Match button appears per row. Click it (or press Ctrl+M) to see matching candidates scored by amount and date proximity. Choosing a match fills in the location, cost center and note. Check Apply to all selected rows to tag multiple transactions at once.

Lists

Open Lists to add or remove saved locations and cost centers. Saved items appear as autocomplete suggestions in every row and persist across all sessions.

Export

Click Export to choose which columns to include, then download as Excel or CSV. Location, cost center and note are always included. If rows are filtered by a search, only the visible rows are exported.
